Arriva Midlands Dennis Falcon swansong 14.02.09

On Valentine's Day 2009, the last of a rare & dying breed of vehicle, the Dennis Falcon, bowed out with Arriva Midlands North. The company (& its predecessors) had built up a large collection of Falcons throughout the 1990's, & the company marked the passing of this rare & delightful marque by staging a running day over the 891/2 Wolverhampton-Telford & X5 Telford-Shrewsbury routes, using the last three of the 1992 batch, all but one of which had 17 years of unbroken service at Wellington depot.
