| The previous day (8 March) saw Trent Barton launch a fleet of five leather-seated Volvo B7RLE/Wright Eclipses into service on route 15 (Ilkeston - Sandiacre - Long Eaton - Old Sawley), replacing an equal number of Optare Solos. Unfortunately, the launch was marred by teething troubles, with one bus (737) missing & the electronic blinds on the remaining four examples failing during the course of the day. Thankfully, these problems have since been rectified & the buses have since settled down to become reliable performers on the route. |
